being found in the liver, aggravates its host by violently thrusting itself
upward towards the chest cavity. It was thought that acupuncture could stop it.

Strigoii – The troubled souls of the dead, they were known
to spread disease from house to house. (Romanian folklore)
Kala – Spirits of disease. They can appear as humans with
pointed dog heads, or dogs with human heads. They have a deep hatred for humans
and inflict disease upon them, they are said to live out in the desolate

Adze – Vampire like beings that would suck your blood and
